# MailSift

> MailSift is a fast, accurate email verification API and bulk CSV validator. It detects invalid, disposable, role-based, and risky email addresses using syntax, MX, SPF, DMARC, SMTP, and catch-all checks, returning a status and a 0–100 deliverability score.

MailSift helps engineers clean email lists and block fraudulent signups in real time. Authenticate API requests with an API key in the `X-API-Key` header. The base URL is `https://mailsift.dev/api/v1`. Every account includes 500 free verification credits, then simple pay-as-you-go pricing.
